  • Congress Above 200.

    • My guess is Congress will gain seats in Bihar, UP, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Kerela, Orissa.

    Maharashtra - more or less same with minor gains

    With a 6 % Swing in UP alone with SP party votes coming to Congress and after interviewing over 1200 people, many of them top corporates, traders, businessmen, it is difficult to find supporterts for the BJP and the 3rd Front is a non entity.

    Here is my calculated prediction.

    Congress alone would cross 200. The total of Congress + Allies is well past the required 272.

    We wish Congress gets atleast 200 seats on its own. Congress got 145 seats in 2004. Based on various estimates, reports and feedback We personally hope and wish that Congress should get 175-180 seats. We leave the floor open to you all to make a guess (be as scientific and logical as possible) as to what would be the number of seats you feel Congress would get on its own. A surprise waits for the one who gets closest to the actual mark. So go on, check your intution and logics and come out with a figure. We initiate the process with our figure of 175.
